2. Website use

By using this site you agree to use it lawfully, not to misuse contact details, and not to copy content or our brand without permission. Information is provided "as is" for general guidance.

3. Services

We provide removals, courier and transport services within the UK (and, when agreed, to/from Spain).

A booking is formed when we confirm your date, scope and price in writing (email or WhatsApp count as writing).

4. Quotes & pricing

Quotes are based on the information you provide (addresses, access, floors, inventory, parking, ferry/toll charges, etc.).

We may adjust the price if the scope changes (extra items, waiting time, access constraints).

5. Parking, access & preparation

You are responsible for obtaining parking permits or reserving space for loading/unloading unless we agree otherwise.

Please pack items safely and declare any fragile or high-value goods before the job starts.

6. Prohibited / restricted items

We do not carry illegal, hazardous or perishable goods, cash, jewellery, precious stones, or items whose transport is restricted by law, unless expressly agreed in writing.

7. Insurance & liability

We exercise reasonable care and skill.

Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the lower of:

(a) the repair cost, or

(b) the price of the job, unless otherwise required by law.

We are not liable for:

• Damage to items not packed by us

• Normal wear/tear or pre-existing defects

• Losses caused by traffic, weather, or events beyond our control

• Indirect or consequential losses (loss of business, profits, etc.)

If you require or hold specific insurance (Goods in Transit), please inform us before the move.

8. Customer responsibilities

Provide accurate information, ensure access, disconnect appliances, protect floors/walls where needed, and be present or represented during loading/unloading.

9. Payment terms

Unless agreed otherwise, payment is due on completion (card, bank transfer, or cash).

Deposits (if any) are non-refundable once we allocate the slot.

10. Cancellation / postponement

• 48+ hours before job: no fee

• 24–48 hours: 50% fee of the quoted price

• Less than 24h or no-show: 100% fee

If we must cancel due to events beyond our control, we will offer a new date or refund any pre-payment.

11. Complaints

Please notify any issues within 48 hours of the job to info@govanuk.com so we can investigate promptly.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.

Courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
